The tornado last evening hit Mobile, just 8 miles Over The Bay from us here.
It wrought quite some destruction. The second tornado in less than 7 days to hit the city of Mobile ... and tornadoes have never-on-record ever before been active in the City! (They always hit North of I-10, and further East, in the flatter, rural, farmlands of the eastern counties of the Eastern Shore, much farther East and North of the Bay.)

Helps us to remember never say never with the weather. We had a strong tornado hit us 6 years ago December 1 st. With all the 60 ft + pine trees taking lines down, roofs off, all roads off the mountain were blocked.
We have our Weather radio on all the time now. Be safe all and hope this crazy system passes soon.
