The other issue I just want to mention, is your should only be introducing 1 med at a time. 2 weeks would be a bare minimum to test the effects of a new med, and 4 is definitely preferred.
A contract for scheduled narcotics is the norm. It may even be required by your state, county, and/or city. Urine testing and pill counts are some of the only options that can be used to monitor those that are taking their meds as directed. It's a good thing IMO. It also provides a record for you. Often pharmacists (at least the good ones) know the meds better the docs, and will catch issues with your scripts.
