natallica,

Welcome to NeuroTalk. You have had quite an experience.

You don't say what symptoms you are still struggling with. Your PT is right. The longer recovery takes, the greater the chance of unrecovered symptoms.

So, if you will tell us about your continuing symptoms and struggles, we can try to help. I don't see any comments about diet and nutrition. I have my suggested vitamin supplementation regimen list in a thread called Vitamin Supplements.

You also should be avoiding caffeine, alcohol, MSG, artificial sweeteners, artificial preservatives, high fructose corn sweetener, and antiperspirants that contain aluminum.

How are you sleeping? Many struggle with insomnia.

Does your PT do any upper neck mobilization/traction? Have you been icing your upper neck? Are you seeing both the PT and your chiropractor? Is your chiro doing the turn the head and pop your neck adjustments? They can be too aggressive for some people.

Please feel free to tell us anything. There are plenty of great people here.

My best to you.
