Well as you know you've overdone it, but in my experience the effects of simply overdoing it, whilst obviously making your recovery take longer than it otherwise would have done, are fairly temporary.
The fact that you were able to even contemplate doing all that stuff, never mind actually pull it off, suggests that you're doing pretty well in the grand scheme of things
And as a fellow football concussion victim I found it helpful last summer to contrast the behaviour, skill and dedication of Jessica Ennis and Sarah Storey with that of John Terry and Wayne Rooney. Made me miss the game much less!
