I know exactly how you are feeling the frustration with the NHS timescales and the sense of yet another set back.
I am 1 year into this and still waiting to have a specialist consultation. Because of my post injury balance problems - I fell down the stairs and hit my head a few times and got taken in to A&E overnight. My GP has now decided that after the last fall he will actually now start treating me and give me some tablets to alleviate the balance problems.
I seem to have recovered better from my last fall - now that I know what to expect and to recover. Much the same with a setback knowing what caused it and how to recover seems to be the only way forward.
1 year in I am much better than I was at 6 months.It does get better albeit slowly and sometimes with out noticing it.
