My Boxer, Sadie, is so very special to me! My husband has accused me of loving the dog more than him .
She is so SO very loyal. She's always by my side, especially when I'm 'down' or going thru a pain flare. She has a way of sensing this. Many dogs have this ability and I find it so amazing.

As far as depression goes, I know for a fact that Sadie has saved me a wad of $ that would have been spent on psychotherapy. Well, I DO see a psychiatrist for the meds I'm on, but just having a loyal dog like this creates such a sense of 'peace' when we are in the same room together.
