Yesterday was a milestone day for Victoria.

Therapeutic cloning of stem cells has been approved in Victorian Parliament. The scientific community is keen to get stem cell research under way.

Victoria is the only state in Australia to allow the use of stem cells for therapeutic cloning thus far.

Hopefully the cure for some degenerative diseases is not far behind.
