absolutely.... i refuse to eat food that takes excessive chewing because after a lil bit my jaw will click every single time i take a bite... last year my jaw locked up on me for almost 2 months, it started where i could barely fit a single finger between my teeth without excruciating pain, then slowly it got better over the 2 months... to make it worse i had a dentist appointment when i could barely fit 2 fingers between teeth
it was definitely a 'FML' day, luckily my dentist was nice and spent the extra time looking instead of just yanking my jaw open lol... if you see a chiropractor they can fix it for you (temporarily) at least, my old NUCCA chiro did, he also showed my (ex) bf how to fix it for me so if it's really bothersome might want to check into that

Severe TBI with 3 bleeds, broken neck (C-2), comatose for 3 days Glasgow score of 6 from a school bus t-boning my door at 60mph in December of 2004. Extraction time took over an hour, over a week just in ICU, original expectation was permanent vegetative state.
Numerous re-injuries including being rear-ended, flipping suv, and the latest in 2011 from being slammed head first on tile floor.
Still having major issues with: anxiety, depression, memory short and long term, sleeping including insomnia and hypersomnia, severe headaches 10-15 days a month, severe neck tension and pain that can be easily agitated, comprehension, problems focusing, easily distracted, irritability, skewed judgement, constantly overwhelmed, mood swings, confusion, brain fog etc etc
