Welcome from a fellow newbie/longtime lurker. If you're concerned about Parkinson's (not sure if you are), then there was a CoQ10 trial that was halted recently because they didn't like the outcome. In reality trials get halted for numerous reasons besides the treatment didn't work, but this is a therapy that my partner and I aren't pursuing right now.

That said, I have read that CoQ10 is an important component of the neurological system and we don't absorb it as well as we get older. I take it as a general anti-aging supplement. It's expensive, so you have to balance these facts. I take the ubiquinol form which is of course more expensive but also more readily absorbed than the basic version.
