Welcome to the group. There is a great bunch of people here who have helped me cope with so much.

I also have TN. The pain is horrible. It is very difficult to find a way to to be civil when you're in so much pain. I say civil because "nice" has been something I have yet to figure out in pain. When it's really bad, the best thing I can do is not say anything at all. If someone says something stupid, I try to ignore it and focus on breathing or the fact that this level of pain will go down.

People start asking me if I'm okay and all I can do to be civil at all is be silent and nod. Luckily I'm always with someone who knows my situation, so they just explain it's MS. I'm always in pain to some degree, but over time have learned to cope with that level, it's just when there is a sudden attack of pain at a much higher level.

I hope you find a way to deal with this. I also hope they find something that helps you. If the medicine they have you taking doesn't work there are other options.
