My name is Tracie, I am 30 and found out I was Bipolar at 18, runs on my fathers side thank you for sharing your story. I also have 3 girls with the oldest (9) taking the gene. I am here for advice on raising her better. I too feel that I do not do the best job on raising my girls and constantly fight my emotions even on meds. Though my mother knew my twin and I had bipolar and did not do the best at raising us (was mostly my older sister) I do not blame her after all I could have grown up worse or Just not cared about people (like my twin), there are days I don't like who I am and just have to remember that if I could not live with this it wouldn't have been given to me.
