And why even have tests if doctors can't respect the results? I don't think they are unaware. I think that they can't be bothered.

Do you have a primary doctor, like an internist? I would suggest bringing the results to them and asking what further testing is necessary to determine the WHY. And stick to just that. Doctors don't like to deal with more than one or two things during an appointment. It's also too time consuming.

I've had my CK run, even after a trauma like surgery, and it's always been normal. And bilirubin reflects something going on with your liver, most likely. It's always prudent to keep your internist/PCP in the loop after you've been in the hospital. They are "generalists" and can look at your overall condition and act appropriately. Hopefully.
