I ask myself is this could be a pattern in your seizures and that's why you smell to smoke odor at 5:30 pm. Have you ever kept a record of your sz. writing down what time your seizures happen along with a discription? My epi told me to do this and you can see what days of the month as well as what time I'm more likely to have a seizure. Another thing you might want to do is call your pharmacist and tell them what you are taking along with any over the counter meds and they could tell you if this is what's causing the problem.
