A old trick from my ancestors and elders is just to flush the nose out with warm water.

Up here in Alaska, the rural community used what we had on hand to combat allergies, and my grandmother would stick my head over a pot with slow boiling chamomile tea in it and put a towel over my head.

I would get either the nose/sinus flush two times per day (bad pollen season) or a face steam once a day...I see nowadays the stores actually have a teapot looking like device that would flush out the nose and sinus'.
