My heart goes out to you, there is nothing worse than feeling alone and in so much pain. I have PN but nothing I have compares to your suffering, you must insist that your GP/and neurologist take your pain and suffering seriously. I take Gabapenting with anti-depressants and sleeping tablets, this really helps me. What medication are you on? Don't take no for an answer and if necessary take someone with you next time you see your Dr., it gives you that added support to speak up for yourself and get some serious help.
