I Just wanted to add, that deep root cleaning does not hurt these days. Mine had no shots at all. New proceedures have been developed. They use a pokey like took that gently places the numbing meds inbetween and all around the tooth. No stress, No pain, all goes well. Ask Your dentist how they do this.
