Since I suspected that my arms functioned better in colder temperatures I decided to do a little experiment....
I warmed up the deltoid on one arm and cooled down the deltoid on the opposite arm.
I was expecting that what would be most noticeable is that cold would prolong my ability to lift arms out to the sides and that I could do more lifts.
What was more remarkable and a little unexpected was that the cold played a role in changing muscle behavior at a certain point in the activity.
Muscle that had cold applied just seemed to´fizzle´out when tired and repetitions did not cause the muscle to crash dramatically whereas
the muscle with heat applied was dying a rapid concrete death with dramatic finality, much faster, and in similar patterns with repetitions.
Then I repeated the experiment with opposite arms and got the same effects.
I have no idea if that is relevant except that the effects of Mestinon were somewhat similar some months ago.
I am most grateful that now my arms are able to perform most functions necessary for normal day to day functioning.
Have a wonderful day
