Hi ecjay and Welcome,
I am so sorry you are going thru this. I know how difficult it is, as I used to have the violent jerks, uncontrollable spasms, and electric shocks going thru my body. I have RSD.
When did this start? Was it after an injury or surgery?
What medications are you on?
If your neuro has given up, find another, until you find someone who finds out what is going on.
Do you have other symptoms?
Many with nerve symptoms are on meds like neurotin or lyrica, anti-depressants, sleep meds, anti-anxiety meds, muscle relaxers, supplements. I use epsom salts.
You need to find what is behind this!!!
Jump around to the different forums-keep searching for answers and DON'T GIVE UP!!!!
Keep a diary of your symptoms-what is going on with you. Keep of record of all your tests including blood work and compare them. Get a file folder. I'm a big believer in taking charge of our health. Some drs. give up.
Hope this helps take care, loretta
