That being said, considering Nia's mother is an educated woman, I was not at all impressed with her description of RND or her manipulating the girl to answer in a way that allowed her to dance on an injured foot. The doctor didn't appear to be terribly knowledgable either. If it was just a random ER doc, then I'm not sure what the point was.

I watched it specifically because of Nia. I had read on Facebook that she was going to be on there and talking about the condition. I was very disappointed too. I felt like her mother was pushing her too hard and minimizing her pain. And her description of the condition?? Type A personalities develop it?? That was crazy!
