Im glad you seeking a 2nd consult ---its true surgery is avoid perm damage but in some and many cases-- not al---l it does often pain reduction as well. Im my case it did reduce pain 90% .Do your homework on the surgeon I did mine --and new a few people that used him also and gotten great results.
