I was not showing symptoms but I did have a lot of burning and pain in my right arm due to the pinched nerves at the c5-c6. The surgeon used the LDR ROI-C device and not the plate and screws. He also used stem cells and not a bone graph. I am just over 24 hours post op and I am back at home. I have a little pain but it is being controlled by the medicine fairly well. I am not in a collar and I have fairly good range of motion with my neck. All in all I feel great right now.

Does anyone have any advice on what to expect over the next few days and weeks. I have 30 days off of work so I should be able to have a proper recovery. Also does anyone else have any experience with the ROI-c device, I had not heard of it before my surgeon told me about it.

Thanks in advance for any replies
Please please update on your recovery! I am 14 weeks post op, had surgery nov 15, 2102. I also have the ROI-C on c4/5. I had cadaver bone used on C5/6 12 years ago and tht recovery was great. This one however has been extremely rough. I woke up from surgery in extreme pain in the back of my neck, left arm was dead weight. A few days later, tht dead weight turned into awful pain across my shoulder, in my shoulder, and down my arm. Dr says MRI and X-rays look good. I'm scared its the device. I am better now than I was 8 weeks post op, but a fr cry from being out of pain. I still can't sit up very long. My neck just can't support my head. Praying you are better. Please post. I've been looking everywhere for someone ho had this device.
