Mona,
I am so sorry you are suffering so much. I have had alot of friends and clients (I am a licensed hairdresser) that have been able to completely stop hair loss and regrow their hair back by using a product called Nioxin. There is a shampoo and a conditioner called scalp therapy. You must use both and continue using even after hair stops falling out (this may take up to two weeks) . This is not a cheap product, it will cost you about $30 a bottle but it is worth every penny. I would freak if my hair started to fall out and all my friends told me this was the worst thing that had ever happened to them. If you know or can find a sympathetic hairdresser, they can buy this for a lot cheaper at the beauty supply store for you. I have not had this product fail on anyone who did what I said. I use it sometimes to grow my hair long fast. It also clarifys (cleans off all meds, environmental toxins etc.) if you leave the shampoo on for 15 min before rinsing. It cleans off the DHT which is what causes hair loss. Trust me on this.
As far as the pain is going I am not sure what you are saying your doctor wants to change you to. I think you are saying long acting narcotics from Percocet. Is that correct? Let me know and I will tell you more on that as I am on the long acting MS Contin.
