The glycinate is the chelate part.
A chelate is an organic molecule that holds the magnesium
until it is absorbed. The chelates tend to enhance absorption,
but even with them, it is not 100%. It is thought that improving
vit D levels, also enhances magnesium absorption, along with calcium.
Typical chelates are malate, glycinate, gluconate, lactate, taurate, citrate.
