Do you lie on that spot alot... I mean a whole lot?

It is not common for people who move around, even in bed to get bedsores.

It could be a bruise or broken blood vessel in the muscle.

I'd have a doctor check it out. There is an inflammatory condition called erythema nodosum, which leaves big bruise like skin conditions.

I am trying to recall... didn't you have a paraneoplastic result recently in testing. If so, this could be related.
