I think post op was ok once we got my pain meds under control. Really just felt doped up for the first week and slept a lot. Ride home was not bad at all. I took my pain meds before we left so pretty much slept the whole way. I had some nausea issues from the mess but they gave me a patch for that.

For me the worst day was day 3 when the pain ball started wearing off and they removed morphine pump. But once we got new meds in system I was fine. Since then it has felt more achy and sore. It will b about 10 weeks before I go back to work because I am a bit of a slow healer and they don't wont me to over do it and cause scarring.

Dr Thompson will tell you that the physical therapy after surgery is very important. It has really kept me loose.
