But the medical establishment certainly isn't queuing up to interview her or pour over files. And it is the scientific community who is at fault here, not the recovered patient. Bianca has just documented her recovery in a book. That's as far as she can take it. It is up to the med research community to unearth and explain the mechanisms and try to replicate them. It would be an appropriate project for the MJFF because the pharma industry certainly won't fund something they can't patent.

lot's of pd research on tai chi, accupuncture, herbs and exercise out there in scientific journals, all researching non-patentable treatments and none mentioning "cure". millions of pd'ers searching for a better therapy before sinemet and she finds a "cure"?
hard to believe if there was something there she couldn't get one researcher interested, but then who would buy the book? where would the mystery be?
so anyone can buy her book and get cured? has anyone else been verifiably "cured" using her techniques? why aren't you "cured" if you are such a strong believer. if you are cured, wouldn't be hard to get your GP or neuro to sign a notorized statement or something verifying you have significantly improved without pd meds?

why do all these cured pd'ers always seem to do it alone? if something was working for me i'd try to let as many pd friends in on the "secret" asap, thats what this board is all about, conveying first person experiences?

has she contacted the MJFF? or any pd philanthropist? lot of rich pd''ers out there.

There are pd trials run by researchers that are funded by small donations or one philanthropy. they may not produce journal quality data but they are usually stepping stones to larger trials.
