Yes this happens
Nine Lives,
This happens to me quite often. I can be going along thinking I am doing good and getting out some and then wham. I get real moody. Crying, anger, frustration, confusion, irritability etc. I have tried to figure out a pattern and yes I have noticed it happens more right before my menstrual cycle but can happen at any time during the month. I do think that hormones have something to do with it but I think mostly it is from being brain injured and for whatever reason our brain is kicking out some release of emotion. That is the way I look at it is that we must have had something that came up that triggered a needed emotional release. I always feel better after the crying. Did you feel like it was a release? Try to look at it in that way instead of getting stressed and anxious over it.
Love to you,
Brain
