Default Neuro thinks I have carpal tunnel - I don't think so AND sleep study for RLS

Finally got into the Neuro yesterday and told him about the new pain in my wrists and thumb. He's convinced it's carpal tunnel. I have pain on the sides of my wrists and on the bottom outside area of my thumb. I think it's my radial nerve. I also get some pain in my forearm near the elbow and in my shoulder where the radial nerve goes (I think). The tops of my hands hurt sometimes. I get pings in my fingers sometimes but rarely. Once I started to dispute it, it sounded like he just needed to do that test anyway, rule out carpal tunnel. I'm waiting for the other doc to call to schedule an EMG. He mentioned that they could give me a shot with a steroid and something else. I do not want to be shot with cortisone. I know it helps at the time, but then can cause more issues later. He said it was good that I got wrist splints for the time being.

Also, I am keeping my husband up at night with my leg movements and snoring. These two things and night sweats has been going on for the past couple months. My husband said my legs have been moving for almost a year now though, it's just gotten bad lately combined with snoring has driven him to the couch. Ugh. Hopefully the study will help, but I've never had one before and have no idea what it's like. I quickly looked at some info for the sleep study program they have at UCSF and Stanford, and they want me to be there at 7pm. I don't usually fall asleep until 11 or so. I'm not looking forward to this. Right now I have to smoke pot to get to sleep. I have my MMJ card. I hope they'll let me do that, or it'll make my pain so much worse before bed. I figure they need me to repeat my nighttime routine as closely as possible, right?
