OMG!

that's like... aw man.... no words.
i am glad you have this little "window" when he is absent and you can clear out those vents, and get some fresh air into the apartment.
we "change" the air every single day. if the temps out are harsh one way or the other, we have to pick our times carefully, and do it quickly with multiple windows open and we turn on the bathroom vent and/or fans to help draw air currents through.

I hate the smell of burned dust and whatever else hangs out in the heater for a year or two.

Coool! (literally, too.)
Funny too because
that is our expected high for tomorrow! With windchill factor considered, they are saying 43°F. Our low for tonight is 37.5 - just above snowpoint but we have clear skies, so no snow. It should remain clear for a while. I keep telling myself i need to get outside in this weather. I think it could be a ticket to feeling good. But i keep not doing it. Maybe I can find myself an errand.
i used to really enjoy these temps - which were only occasional - when i lived in Florida, because i could break out the gloves... on top of boots and scarves which i wore a lot regardless.
