Let's make sure that we're talking about the same thing: my fasciculations are irregular movements of parts of a muscle (in my case almost entirely the calf muscle). You can feel the movement, but it is not painful. There is no movement of the limb.

I first noticed these in 1986. I saw a doctor, who sent me for a blood test (I can't remember for what), and was told there's nothing to worry about.

When I was in the process of being diagnosed for PD, I told the neurologist, and was told the same thing.

They've continued ever since, never causing a problem.

But since diagnosis in 2005, I've often wondered if they are linked to PD.
