Consider,
I have been on the same med for 14 years. Yes, it has great stabilizing effects on the concussion induced symptoms. Please keep in mind that it is not a cure all. You still need to moderate your environment and activities. At your age, I am sure you will want to minimize the dose and duration of taking Paxil. As it continues to build in your body, you may notice some side-effects that are a struggles.
So, just remember to not push your limits. You will want to stop the Paxil at some time. You want to have behavior skills that will support being Paxil free. When your doctor want to try taking you off the Paxil, it needs to be done slowly. Some have severe reactions to stopping Paxil.
btw, I have tried to stop Paxil and find the symptoms come roaring back.
