She also said I should get checked out. It's been mentioned before and I know sometimes they misdiagnose FM and MS. I'm scared. I'm mad at my body!! I feel so lost and alone.

Hi Jen,
I am new here too, but I'm happy to give support, advice, or even just listen. Whatever helps...
I have Fibromyalgia too, in addition to Arnold Chiari, Multiple Sclerosis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Cervical Spondylosis, and a few other awful things that cause severe chronic pain. I know, it sounds unbelievable to have so many things at once, yet here I am.

I know that this is a scary and frustrating time while you are waiting for an accurate diagnosis, so being involved in a support group will hopefully help you manage through these difficult times. You are not alone, I have met many people in this support group as well as another for people with chronic pain, and we are here to encourage, listen, and support others.

Do you have a pain management doctor to help you manage your increasing pain? There are a lot of treatment options that can help with your pain, but it is important to have a knowledgeable and caring PM doctor to help you make the best decisions to treat your pain. If you feel that your symptoms go beyond that of FM I would encourage you to ask your doctor to set up and MRI to look for MS.

I wish you well and hope you find the answers you are looking for.

Blessed Be,
