dear shift,

i know how anxious the time is going thru the diagnostic process. dr visits, tests and waiting. try to take one day and one test at a time. not that it's easy but it helps.

my first sx's were a gait disturbance that was getting worse. it might not be MS at all. the dx is one of elimination. so the dr may order some tests to rule it out. IF it is MS it's not a death sentence. yes, some people are very ill. a lot of us are very functional. i've has my dx since '03. i'm still walking with a cane and drive.

try to take one day at a time. no one, including healthy people, know what the future holds. please let us know how you are doing in your quest to find answers.
