I think everyone deals with depression at some point in their life. I know this is not a religious forum, but my honest answer would be without my faith I would be so lost.

Don't give up. Faith, drugs, therapy, everyone is different and there is no magic cure. But you can't give up or get discouraged. If one thing does not work then try another.
