"
I think showing people that I'm capable of playing and not having any side effects or setbacks from it, I think that'll open eyes to a lot of people."
When (not IF) his symptoms hit during a game, it'll open his eyes as well.
From dallasnews.com: "Wright was diagnosed with the disease while playing for a team in Turkey last year. He gets an injection of medicine once a month, which has prevented the disease from being a hindrance. He spent training camp with the New Orleans Hornets and had no effect. If Wright does get in Tuesday’s game, or Thursday’s game in San Antonio, or even Friday’s game against Cleveland, the timing couldn’t be better. It’s Multiple Sclerosis Awareness week."
His contract is only for 10 days. Obviously the Mavericks' management is not confident of him. Sounds like a Mark Cuban (Mavericks owner) publicity stunt.
