My lieutenant won the election and what a ruckus it was, he was a newcomer in politics and defeated the old guard so to speak. Well today (3/21) there is a debate on the floor of the Florida HOR on a bill that would remove disability provisions for non job related disability from the State of Florida Retirement System. This is huge, in other words in my case I would have worked and then had no rights to collect my benefits! I know this may not impact any of you but it goes to show what is being done without our knowledge, SCARY! Right now you can "medical out" and get what you have regardless of vesting, etc. This bill will leave you with nothing!
