Hi flopper,
I'm so sorry that thinks aren't looking better for you. It seems like your neuro doesn't give a darn from what you told me. You might want to try taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg. a day this has helped me with my cp sz. Just like you I also have cp and absence sz. the absence sz. are coming from the right temporal lobe and after many yrs. of sz. the brain damage spread to the left side of my brain which causes cp sz. I have found that taking diamox and mysoline the best 2 AED's to help control my sz. This summer when school gets out I'm going to start taking flaxseed oil and 5-HTP to see if it will possibly stop if not reduce my sz. since AED's don't help that much.
It's up to you but I would look into finding another neuro. or else go to an Epilepsy Center and see an epi. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You!

Sue
