Hmmm....sounds suspiciously like a yeast problem. Oral thrush is common, particularly with children, the elderly, the immunosuppressed and there are many on here who have difficulties with recurrent yeast infections (though the location varies).

Have you had a cold/flu/sore throat or anything like that? Do you have spots on the roof of your mouth or in your throat? If so, that may be more indicative of strep.

Go and see a doctor - it could just as easily be something else, but better to know, and get on top of it before it causes any problems.

As others on here have said to me (and it is so true) - we know our bodies, and we are so aware of things that are going on with us, that when things change, we know all about it.
