I have written to Dr Egle Solito, Lead author in the paper

and received a very supportive reply. I have asked Dr Solito for permission to post her message here on the forum, but I have not had a reply yet, she is obviously very busy. She has referred my article to Professor Joan Abbot, an expert in the BBB.
I will post ant more news as soon as I get it, but it is looking good.
