Hi Leanie ~ Do me a favor? Please ask your doctor to order an MRI of your cervical spine. There MIGHT be something going on in your neck that is causing the pain. It's possible -- I'm not saying it's probable. But it's worth having the MRI to see for sure.

Then if there IS something worth looking at, have your doctor refer you to a good NEUROSURGEON (not a Neurologist) and see what he has to say. Just go for an opinion. Don't jump into surgery. If he DOES recommend surgery, then you'll need to get at LEAST 2 other opinions from other NEUROSURGEONS for their take on it. Surgery should be a last resort, after all conservative options have failed.

When you have your MRI, if you don't understand it, bring the report here and post it. We can help you decipher it. I wish you the very best. God bless and please take care. Hugs, Lee
