Heart So what do you think of Maca?

After I tweeted about muscle spasms I was having, which I attributed to using 25 or more mg of methylcobalamin a day for over 5 years, I got a reply that talked about how methylcobalamin helps cells divide properly again, and this takes a lot more potassium, so potassium tends to run low and muscle spasms follow.

I ordered potassium, right away.

But while I was waiting for it to arrive I wondered what I could eat that would supply a lot of potassium... I wondered if aloe would.

Turns out aloe uses a lot of potassium, or interferes with it, I forget.

What is GREAT for potassium is Maca. I'd ordered it to use in my organic creamer, so I had some on hand, and gave it a try. Excellent results.

It's been several weeks now, and the spasms have gone from screaming painful, to nearly not happening at all.

So... if you're taking a lot of methylcobalamin (B12) it's a good idea to add some high potassium food to your diet.

:-)
