I get the same thing but am newly diagnosed. Mine always happen during my full blown seizures but it happens frequently and randomly. It happened during my EEG and my EEG came back abnormal, I was diagnosed yesterday and the nurse practitioner (the neuro was out for the week) said that it was probably a partial seizure.

I don't know how common it is but I get that feeling, and I do get it with the aura as well, but I get it would any of the more intense seizures as well
