I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis of CLL. I assume you are speaking about Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia? Hopefully it has been caught in the early stages and you are feeling okay. I think it's important for everyone to be nutritionally healthy but especially when diagnosed with cancer. I know doctors do not often discuss nutritional needs but a nutritionist may be be able to help you with that and it could have a very positive impact on your overall health.

I am a firm believer in taking measures to reduce the inflammation in our body irrelevant of whether we are ill or not because the lower the inflammation, the healthier we will be. It is important to not grasp at every idea someone throws out at us because without the proper guidance we just won't be able to follow it through. So again I think a nutritionist is one who can help you do that but you have to be willing to stick to the program.

Regarding the root canal issue....... there is no doubt about it, all root canaled teeth are inflamed and infected irrelevant of whether they display signs of that or not. Eliminating this source of inflammation would certainly give your immune system a break. However, it is best to seek a dentist who can guide you through this process properly and help you decide whether or not doing this is presently in your best interest. I would suggest searching for a dentist and perhaps a physician through the IAOMT organization. Generally these practitioners are taught conventional medicine/dentistry but have continued their studies in Integrative modalities which can offer you not only the best of both worlds but referrals to others who think similarly. I wish I could offer you more .... but I really cannot make a blanket statement about the association between CLL and root canaled teeth..... other than to say that inflammation and infection are a big issue with both of these things.
