Sorrry that doc. was a jerk. Yep they exist. It took me several tries before I found my medical team. My first neurosurgeon was enough of a jerk, I waved bye bye and left the office and never returned. I didn't feel like being told it was "all in my head" Well it certainly wasn't, as I am now fused C3-7. I got my records and discovered I was not told all the truth.
Keep moving forward and try to find a doctor who treats you with respect. I interviewed 4 pain specialists until I found the one who I trusted. Here they thought they were interviewing me..... They work for us, remember that. You have a right to be treated like you have a brain, and with dignity. Wave bye bye and look at the astonished face...quite a sight.
