Blush I'm a newbie too!

I just stumbled on this site trying to find info on my "newest" diagnosis. Hopefully, this is the correct one - Small Fiber Neuropathy (I'm also Bi-Polar) and have actually had a Dr. suggest, the pain was in my head, and I needed to buy a book on self-hypnosis.

Anyway, It all started more than two years ago with a searing pin-point on the the ball of my left foot. (I had a hard fall about 2 weeks prior, don't know if that had anything to do with it). Within a month or so, the pin-point had multiplied to around 20 or so spots. I made an appointment with my GP, who diagnosed me with neuropathy, no attempt to find out why. I was put on a low dose of Gabapentin (didn't help, so I quit taking it). Within a few months the pain was unbearable, and then the pin-point started on my right foot.

To make a long story short, I had an MRI on my back, which disclosed Multiple Level Stenosis, so my nerve pain was attributed to my back. It got so bad, I had days when I was crying at work. After seeing Foot Drs., a Neurologist, Orthopaedic Back Speciality (complete with 3 Epidurals) I was sent to an Orthopaedic Foot Dr. who diagnosed me with Tarsal Tunnel, Morton's Neuroma & Plantar Faciatitus. I had the 'TRIPPLE' surgery for those conditions in December of 2011.

Oops, almost out of room, better start a new thread..........
