I think you will need a supplement.

The easiest to use with the least side effects is SlowMag.
This is available at WalMart even (the lowest price), for about
$10.

Two of those a day, would be a good start.. (divided doses).
This is about 1/2 the RDA.

You can still soak while taking the SlowMag.

Not all mag supplements work well. Avoid magnesium oxide products.


There is a powder that dissolves quickly in warm water and
delivers the mag quickly...with less laxative effects...

Some people like this one.

Alot depends on YOU...some people get loose stools with magnesium liquids and supplements.
