The Ionic fizz is fast. I've used it. I keep it around for "emergencies" ...but since I started the topical, I haven't needed it. I am very sensitive to the laxative effects of magnesium orally.
I purchased mine at Whole Foods. It is very good IMO.

The SlowMag you can take with food. WalMart will order it for you if they don't have it out front. They have a generic behind the pharmacy counter in some stores, Mag64. But since the Brand name is almost the same price, there, I only mention the brand, these days.

I also eat beans at least twice a week and nuts almost every day.

Still soak, because your circulation in the feet may be poor, and the mag orally may not get thru to your feet very well. Soaking provides that local effect therefore.
