Default I once knew a girl named Polly Vagal....

It is very difficult to do W.C. Fields on a keyboard. A lesser man would have given up long ago.

But seriously, I am glad to have the subject come up as I have been thinking about it lately. For those who don't know, the vagal nerve winds from the brain down through what we professionals call "the Innards" and into the abdominal cavity. It connects the various bits of the viscera to the brain and affects some areas that are essential to the current view of PD. For example, the GI tract. Constipated? Blame the vagas. Diarrhea? The vegas.

The link out looks very interesting and I will enjoy going over it as I fall asleep tonight. (Note: It is a very sick man who can say that to a woman and keep a straight face. )

Some things that have set me to wondering include the observaton that when I am almost on but not quite, that I can do about 15 leg lifts and 15 setups and most of the time I will be on or at least trending within five minutes or less. A similar effect comes with the use of some beathing techniques as well. Very interesting.
