actually aspirin is an antioxidant of sorts:

I'd like to see some articles on aspirin being "oxidative".
I couldn't find any just now.

Aspirin is quite complicated... however. When first discovered no one had a clue about all the various actions of it!

All of the NSAIDs have similar traits, with some being more toxic to the liver than others. All the NSAIDs have weaker effects on platelets than aspirin. And the NSAIDs have a higher potential for causing heart disease, than aspirin does.
