Oh yum you guys! Sally what kind of "whine" is that? It's good. And, Kicker, I love this cheese.

I feel the same way, Sally. MS does have me. It has me everyday. I am not sure who came up with this saying but I think they were in some sort of denial when they said it.

I go through times when it completely rules my life. During those times, how could I possibly say "it doesn't have me."
Kicker - I hope you get the refrigerator situation taken care without too much "hurt" to your budget.
Another thing I hate about this crazy disease is that everything seems to trigger symptoms. Even the smallest thing can cause symptoms to act up, changes in weather, stress, illnesses, and even allergies. It's so annoying sometimes. I just finished up abx for a sinus infection and my allergies have been horrible and, as you can guess, I have more spasticity and nerve pain due to it. When I went to my PCP, we were talking about how sensitive the muscles are in diseases like MS. I can't remember exactly how she said it but it was something to the effect of when the muscles act up and get sore, inflammation starts, when inflammation starts fluid builds up causing swelling. I have total body swelling and, although she is not sure what is causing it, she said spasticity could be part of the problem. (BTW - All blood tests came back normal with the exception of vitamin D. So she thinks a lot of this swelling is from allergies as well as increased spasticity due to the MS reacting to the allergies.) UGH!
Passing that yummy whine and cheese that Kicker and Sally shared . . .
